Bomberman on XBLA This Wednesday

without comments

Bomberman

A completely new version of Bomberman appears as this weeks Xbox Live Arcade title. It is the first Bomberman to be programmed and made by a North American developer, but has the full support of Hudson. They actually received a lot of feedback and info from the Hudson team in Japan in regards to many aspects to make sure they delivered a true Bomberman experience. The game will support 4 players locally, and 8 players online. I am really looking forward to this after how disappointing Bomberman Land for the Wii was! Plus now I get to obsess over my friends high score and gamer points. Yup I am shallow and competitive!

Sitting on the Next Gen Fence

On Wii launch day I had no idea I would be where I am now. Looking for a new console…
I’m not against the Wii, don’t get me wrong, Nintendo latley has been making games that…lets just say, games that are just empty calorie finger foods. You eat and you get hungrier. You even get frustrated that you cannot fill the void. All gamers have needs and I for one am defiantly feeling the need for some next gen gaming the Wii just cannot provide at this point. I don’t even read the Nintendo sites I use to because fanboys keep making a big deal about lame ass games I can’t relate to as well as new Wii peripherals that just make me ask, “Why?”.

So now the delima. I got sick and tired of Sony 3 years back and traded it for a Xbox. I play the monstrosity of a machine once or twice every three months. It seems to give me a weird feeling. It has no charm… or something that escapes words really. It’s just a feeling I get booting the console, holding the controller and playing the games. PS1 and PS2 both had a home like feeling that helped make me comfy playing games for hours at a time.

So here is the big debate; should I give 360 a chance, or gamble on PS3?
